Established in 1953, the Manipal Academy of Higher Education has been granted the Institution of Excellence status by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. In addition to this, MAHE got the deemed university status in 1993. MAHE Manipal offers full-time UG, PG, diploma and doctoral-level programmes in the fields of Medicine, Engineering and Technology, Humanities, Management, Arts, Science and Commerce.
